Late to take the hand
Of the person who can guide you
To the light and away from the darkness
And with Him you dont have to fear
Fear turns into love
Love perseveres
And you take a step forward and remember
the purpose

and how he changed it
You turn and see
the past in the dust behind you
and its no longer following you
You seem to feel regretful of it
Not sure you want to make it
But knowing you must

A step toward freedom

away from fear
step toward safety
It is a step of courage
